Winifred is a sustainable finance analyst at global risk intelligence company, Verisk Maplecroft, where she is focused on understanding and explaining sustainability themes in sovereign debt investment, and in helping asset managers to identify how to integrate ESG into sovereign debt portfolios. She has also worked as country risk analyst at BMI (a Fitch Solutions company), focusing on Sub-Saharan African markets.

To complement her professional work, she is studying for a PhD in the political economy of climate change mitigation at the University of Essex. She holds an MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in International Relations from the University of Essex.
