Jo Thomas is an independent consultant specialising in communications, marketing and brand. She has a background in health, spending several years leading communications and public affairs in hospital settings and within the UK Government's Department of Health (working on public health projects). She also has expertise in magazine publishing and four years of experience in network television production. She is a Board Trustee of a national health charity (cardiac and respiratory) and has a particular interest in social mobility. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Royal Society of Medicine.
