Hamza is a seasoned developed markets and emerging markets investor.

Hamza was previously at TPG Growth, a leading private equity fund focused on growth equity and middle-market buyout investments.

Prior to TPG, he worked at Helios Investment Partners and J.P. Morgan in investment banking in London completing several transactions with an aggregate enterprise value of over $7 billion.

Notable Africa deals include: Trace (leading African & urban music media company); Ecoles Yassamine (Morocco’s largest private network of K-12 schools); Wananchi (East African fibre to home and satellite TV platform).

Hamza holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe (French top Grande Ecole).
