Bashar Chalabi is an entrepreneur and was the Chief Enterprise Architect at TSYS Inc, one of the largest card payment processors in the world, facilitating over 32 billion payments in 2018. Bashar joined TSYS as part of the acquisition of Card Tech Limited (CTL). Bashar was a co-founder and the CTO of CTL, a London-based pioneer in payment processing software that developed the first PC-based card solution certified by MasterCard and Visa. Its Prime software is currently used by 140 banks in 80 countries. Bashar holds a BSc in Computer Sciences and Economics from Northeastern University.
