Amyn is currently leading business development strategy and execution at AMSA Hospitality, a family business focused on supply chain and financial services for the hospitality sector in East Africa. AMSA was built on a deep understanding of the constraints and opportunities in hospitality and tourism, based on a two-decade long knowledge base acquired in managing Serena properties in Tanzania.

Having grown up in Tanzania and Kenya, and engaged with clients in Uganda and Rwanda, Amyn understands the East African commercial regional landscape, cultural nuances, and networks, including the value of conducting financial and impact analysis from the ground up.

Previous to re-joining AMSA, Amyn worked in London for Nexus Investments, a venture capital fund focused on healthcare, education, future of work, data and digital verticals. He was responsible for assisting with research, due diligence, and selection of investees as well as overseeing and contributing to the growth of portfolio companies and the fund's management.

Previous to this, Amyn was a Corporate Finance Analyst at Cornucopia Capital, where he worked across their M&A advisory, equity research and early-stage investing functions.

Amyn holds a Bsc. in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Exeter, and passed his Level II Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination in 2021.
