Aaron Heidari is a managing director with Saray Capital. He leads the firm’s research function for public equities and is a member of the Investment Committee. Previously, Aaron was a senior analyst with Sancta Capital Group, a value-oriented hedge fund, where he invested in distressed and special situations across the capital structure of emerging and frontier market corporations, including in listed equities, bonds, bank loans and trade claims. Earlier, Aaron was a senior associate with Eagle Investments, the principal investments division of National Industries Group (Kuwait) – a $4bn investment holding company. While at Eagle, Aaron was responsible for diligence, execution, and monitoring of a private equity portfolio with $100m of deployed capital in the financial services & fintech sectors within Asia and the US. Aaron was also a member of the team that in 2012 led the successful restructuring of National Industries Group. Aaron is a CFA charter holder. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.
