Leonard Stall

Leonard Stall is the Chairman of media group Touchline (touchline.com), and particularly active in the philanthropy sector. He was behind the launch of Philanthropy Age magazine (philanthropyage.com), a grantee of the Gates Foundation, and is its Editor-in-Chief, as well as Touchline’s How to do Good book (London Wall) and global speaker tour. Together with Farahnaz Karim, the CEO of social enterprise Insaan, he initiated the work on the creation of an International Code of Practice for the Charity Sector, now being led by British Standards Institution (presented at the Paris Peace Forum in 2018).
Leonard is a Consultant to the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and an Advisory Board member of Rosalynn Carter’s Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism in UAE, as well as being the Chairman of Trustees of UK publishing body ACE (acecirculation.com). In addition, he sits on the Editorial Board of Alliance magazine (alliancemagazine.org).In April 2019 he accepted an Honorary Doctorate from The University of Birmingham, where he did his Bachelor’s Degree. He is also a former Press Fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge.
